Steve Hoffman is the
owner/manager and Chief Engineer of Landmark Recording Studios. A studio
musician since 1973, he has more than 25 years’ experience as an
engineer/producer. He has worked with six major record labels, and has
received recognition in Billboard Magazine for his professional work.
In 2001, Steve received an Emmy Award for his work
on the film documentary Ashes to Glory.
He has also done work on commercial jingle production, TV news and station
promos, radio station promos and theme music for a TV game show.
Steve’s live sound reinforcement credits include
working with such names as Audio Adrenaline, Wayne Watson, Steve Camp, Kenny
Marks, Rich Mullins, David Meece, Mark Lowry and others. He has also held
studio sessions with First Call, Steven Curtis Chapman, and more.
In addition to his studio, Steve is the sound
technician and road manager for the internationally acclaimed group,
Exile. He also
teaches sound reinforcement and recording at Ohio University.
Steve lives Ashland, Kentucky. He and his wife,
Linda, have three children.
